Strikers and Conquerors recorded contrasting victories on the third day of the National Women’s T20 Tournament in Faisalabad on Tuesday.

Strikers overcame a batting collapse to defeat Stars by four wickets, while Conquerors registered a comfortable seven-wicket victory over Challengers.

Chasing a modest target of 88, Strikers lost six wickets before reaching 88 for six in 17.3 overs. Rameen Shamim delivered an impressive all-round performance, claiming three wickets for just 11 runs before remaining unbeaten on 13 to help Strikers secure victory.

Eman Naseer top-scored with 27, while Huraina Sajjad contributed 19. For Stars, Momina Riasat took two for 13 and captain Tuba Hassan claimed two for 23.

Earlier, Stars struggled to 87 for eight in their allotted 20 overs, with Hafza Khalid top-scoring with 14. Rameen was the pick of the Strikers bowlers with three for 11.

Rameen was adjudged player of the match for her contributions with both bat and ball.

In the other match, Conquerors produced a clinical performance to defeat Challengers by seven wickets.

Ghulam Fatima claimed three for 18 and Ayesha Bilal took two for 18 as Challengers were dismissed for 98 in 18.3 overs. Komal Khan top-scored with 27, while Laraib Malik and Umm-e-Hani contributed 16 runs each.

Conquerors then reached their target in 15.5 overs, finishing on 99 for three. Captain Muneeba Ali led the chase with 41, while Gull Rukh contributed 22.

Muneeba was named player of the match.
