LAHORE: Stars and Conquerors shared points after their match in the National Women’s T20 was washed out at the Ghani Glass Cricket Stadium on Sunday. On Saturday, the Invincibles beat Strikers by four wickets in a last-ball thriller in the second match of the tournament.

Strikers batted first and scored 182 for seven. Opener Sadaf Shams top-scored with 56 off 35 balls with 12 fours. In the middle order, there were even contributions from Aliya Riaz (37, 28b, 6×4), Nashra Sandhu (25 not out, 18b, 4×4), Umm-e-Hani (21, 17b, 2×4) and Najiha Alvi (19, 15b, 2×4).

For the Invincibles, Amber Kainat was the pick of the bowlers with three for 41, while Saima Malik took two for 25. Momina Riasat and Haniah Ahmer took one wicket each.

In their run-chase, the Invincibles achieved the 183-run target off the final ball of the match for the loss of six wickets.

Iram Javed was the star performer, scoring a 45-ball 72 with 10 fours and two sixes. Together with Maham Anees, Iram put on 81 runs for the third wicket. Maham scored 40 off 31 balls with eight fours. Opener Gull Feroza contributed a useful 30 off 15 balls, including five fours and a six.

For the Strikers. Saira Jabeen took three for 33, and Fatima Khan picked up two wickets for 21.
