Conquerors and Strikers recorded last-over victories on the ninth day of the National Women’s T20 Tournament in Faisalabad on Tuesday.

Conquerors chased down Challengers’ 127 with three wickets and four balls to spare at the Bohranwali Ground, while Strikers reached the 133-run target against Stars with three wickets and one ball to spare at the Jawad Cricket Club Ground.

In the 15th match at the Bohranwali Ground, Challengers batted first and posted 127 for six, with Ayesha Zafar continuing her rich form with a 61-ball 75 with eight fours and two sixes. Humna Bilal of Conquerors took three wickets for 27 runs.

In turn, Conquerors reached 128 for the loss of seven wickets in 19.2 overs, with Muneeba Ali, later adjudged player of the match, scoring 63 from 44 balls with nine fours. She added 86 runs for the first wicket with Gull Rukh, who scored 36 from 37 balls with three fours and a six.

In the other match of the day, Stars posted 132 for six in 20 overs, with opener Sadaf Shamas scoring 50 from 46 balls with eight fours and Samina Aftab scoring 20 as the two put on 51 runs for the first wicket.

In turn, Eman Naseer led Strikers’ run-chase with 51 from 49 balls with eight fours and a six. However, it required a two-ball seven not out from No. 8 batter Najiha Alvi to close the match with three wickets and one ball remaining.
