Stars defeated Challengers by 69 runs and Strikers beat Invincibles by six wickets in the two matches on the eighth day of the National Women’s T20 Tournament on Monday.

Ayesha Rehman of Stars was player of the match at the Jawad Club Cricket Ground, while Neelam Mushtaq of Strikers was named player of the match at the Bohranwali Ground.

Stars batted first and posted 139 for six against Challengers, with Sadaf Shamas scoring 34 and Tuba Hassan 34 not out. In turn, Challengers were bowled out for 70, with Ayesha Zafar top-scoring with 35. Ayesha Rehman returned figures of 2.3-0-8-4, and Momina Riasat picked up two for 20.

Eyman Fatima top-scored with 34 for Invincibles, who were all out for 97 against Strikers. Neelam Mushtaq took two wickets for 10 runs, while Rameen Shamim (2-12) and Fatima Sana (2-23) also took two apiece.

In turn, Strikers reached the target for the loss of four wickets in 15.4 overs, with Natalia Parvaiz scoring 24 and Eman Naseer 21. Shahar Bano of Invincibles took two wickets for 25 runs.
