Pakistan Women hit a new low in their T20I history when they were bowled out for their lowest-ever score as India Women won their Group A ACC Women’s Asia Cup 2026 match by seven wickets in Dubai on Saturday.

Pakistan slumped from 27 for no loss in 4.2 overs to 55 all-out in 18.1 overs — eclipsing their previous lowest T20I total of 56, scored in 11.4 overs against New Zealand at the same venue during the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024.

Fatima Sana picked up three wickets for 17 runs but India had little trouble chasing down the modest target, reaching 57 for three in 8.3 overs. This was Pakistan’s fifth consecutive loss in T20Is to India, while India have now won 15 out of 18 T20Is with Pakistan winning three – last in October 2020.

Muneeba Ali (13) and Shawaal Zulfiqar (14) gave Pakistan a positive start after captain Fatima Sana elected to bat first. But Muneeba’s dismissal triggered a collapse that ended only with the fall of last batter Nashra Sundhu, with Pakistan all out for 55.

After Muneeba and Shawaal, No.9 batter Tuba Hassan was the next-highest scorer with nine, while Umm-e-Hani faced the most balls, 18, in scoring six.

Pakistan batters struck six boundaries in their innings, with Shawaal alone hitting three.

India’s spin trio of Shree Sharani, Prema Rawat and Deepti Sharma shared eight wickets, with Sharani taking three for seven, Rawat three for nine and Sharma two for five.

India needed just 49 balls to reach their target of 56. Captain Harmanpreet Kaur hit the winning six and finished unbeaten on 18, while Sharma followed up her two wickets with 12 not out. Shafali Verma, who took one wicket, also scored 12.

Pakistan will now need to beat Hong Kong on Monday to join India in the semi-finals from Group A.
