LAHORE: Left-arm spinner Momin Qamar took nine wickets and opener Sameer Minhas scored a century as JDW’s third match in Group A of the three-day President’s Trophy Grade-II Gold match against Ahmad Glass in Haripur ended in a draw.

Momin returned figures of 13-2-59-5 as Ahmad Glass were restricted to 290 for nine in the first innings with Rehman Khan scoring 110. In turn, JDW replied with 199, with Nasir Nawaz scoring 68 and Farhan Yousaf 37 as Usman Qadir took five for 85 and Arham Nawab four for 45 for Ahmad Glass.

Ahmad Glass declared their second innings at 289 for six. Momin Qamar followed up his five for 59 with figures of 30-5-96-4. Burhan Basharat (68) and Rehman Khan (61) scored half-centuries for Ahmad Glass.

Chasing an improbable 381 for victory, JDW finished their second innings at 216 for three. Opener Sameer Minhas scored 121 from 159 balls with 15 fours and three sixes.

The Pakistan Cricket Board has made changes to the schedule of President’s Trophy Grade-II Gold matches. JDW will now have an extended break and will return to the field on 5 June when they will take on Kingsmen Academy at the Abbottabad Cricket Stadium. Their remaining two matches will be against PHA Rawalpindi (9-11 June) and Railways (13-15 June).
