LAHORE: Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi shared points after their Pakistan Super League match was abandoned without a ball being bowled at the Gaddafi Stadium on Tuesday.

Despite the best efforts of the ground staff, the match officials decided the outfield remained too damp, with numerous wet patches left by rain that had hit the city earlier in the day.

The result left Peshawar on three points from two matches, while Islamabad have one point from two matches. Karachi Kings lead the points table with two wins from two, while defending champions Lahore Qalandars have a win and a loss from their two matches.

Wednesday, Multan Sultans take on Hyderabad Kingsmen. Multan will aim to join Karachi on two wins from two matches, while Hyderabad will look to get off the mark after losing both their opening matches.
