Stars defeated Conquerors by six wickets and Invincibles beat Challengers by seven wickets in the two matches of the National Women’s T20 Tournament in Faisalabad on Thursday.

Hafsa Khalid took four for eight and Tuba Hassan four for 20 as Stars dismissed Conquerors for 111 in 19.5 overs. Ravail Farhan was the top scorer with 31, while Gull Rukh scored 24.

In turn, Iram Javed scored 38, Samina Aftab 23 and Sadaf Shamas 21 to help Stars reach the target for the loss of four wickets in 16.4 overs.

Hafsa was named player of the match.

In the other fixture, Challengers posted 143 for seven, with Komal Khan scoring 75 from 59 balls with 10 fours and a six. Syeda Aroob Shah picked up two wickets for 15 runs and Anosha Nasir grabbed two for 23.

In reply, Invincibles reached the target for the loss of three wickets in 16.2 overs. Aroob followed her two wickets with a 39-ball 48 with eight fours, but Gull Feroza was named player of the match for her 42-ball 63 with nine fours. The two batters put on 99 runs for the second wicket.
