LAHORE: The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) on Monday announced it was cancelling the England Lions’ tour of Abu Dhabi following US-Israeli air strikes on Iran. The ECB further said it was working to get players and staff back to the United Kingdom.

After sweeping the three-match T20 series, the England Lions had won the opening 50-over match by nine wickets before the second game over the weekend was cancelled.

The PCB, which is the series host, has not made any announcement.
