Pakistan Women Lose In Rising Stars Event
LAHORE: India Women beat Pakistan Women by eight wickets in the Asia Cup Rising Stars 2026 event at the Terdthai Cricket Ground in Thailand on Sunday.
Batting first, Pakistan were dismissed for 93 in 18.5 overs, with opener Shawaal Zafar scoring 23, Gull Rukh 21 and Anosha Nasir 17.
For India, Radha Yadav, Saima Thakor and Prema Rawat took two wickets apiece.
In turn, India raced to victory for the loss of two wickets in 10.1 overs, with opener Vrinda Dinesh top-scoring with 55 not out from 29 balls, including 12 fours. Anushka Sharma scored 24 and added 79 runs from 50 balls for the second wicket with Vrinda.
In the other matches, UAE (189-4) registered their second win when they defeated Nepal (171-5) by 18 runs; Bangladesh (115) beat Sri Lanka (111) by four runs; and Thailand (169-7) beat Malaysia (70-8) by 99 runs.
