Pakistan U19 Women Chase Down 127 To Level Series
LAHORE: Fizza Faiz hit a quickfire half-century to help Pakistan U19 Women beat Bangladesh U19 Women by six wickets, levelling the five-match series with the decider to be played on Friday.
Fizza struck five fours and three sixes in a 35-ball 52 not out as Pakistan achieved the 127-run target for the loss of four wickets in 18.1 overs. Openers Eman Naseer (42, 47b, 4×4) and Komal Khan (22, 11b, 2×4, 2×6) also batted well.
Earlier, Rozina Akram (two for 17) and Memoona Khalid (two for 29) restricted Bangladesh to 126 for seven. Achena Jannat Emanta was the top-scorer with 35, while other notable contributors were Mymuna Naher Shornamoni (24 not out) and Sumaiya Akter Suborna (20).
In the previous matches, Pakistan had scored 88 (won by 13 runs), 80 lost by three wickets) and 86 (lost by seven wickets).
