Pakistan’s U19 were knocked out of the 2024 U19 Asia Cup after a comprehensive defeat against Bangladesh in the semi-final. Bangladesh dominated in all departments to secure a comfortable seven-wicket victory and book their spot in the final.

Winning the toss, Bangladesh elected to bowl first, a decision that quickly paid dividends. Pakistan’s batting lineup crumbled under disciplined bowling, losing both openers for ducks. The team never recovered from the early blows, eventually folding at 116 in 37 overs. Farhan Yousuf was the lead scorer for Pakistan, scoring 32.

Bangladesh’s Mohammad Iqbal Hasan Emon was the star with the ball, delivering a sensational spell. He claimed four crucial wickets, conceding just 24 runs, and kept Pakistan under pressure.
