LAHORE: Pakistan will return to Sri Lanka in January for three T20Is, which will be part of its preparation for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, to be held in India and Sri Lanka from 7 February to 8 March. Pakistan is in Group A long with India, USA, Namibia and the Netherlands, and will play all its matches in Colombo.

The three bilateral T20Is will be held on 7, 9 and 11 January in Dambulla.

Sri Lanka toured Pakistan in November for three ODIs and also featured in a tri-nation T20I series with Zimbabwe as the third side.

The series against Sri Lanka is expected to be followed by three T20Is against Australia. Discussions between the two boards are ongoing and an announcement is expected soon.
