LAHORE: The Conquerors v Challengers and Stars v Strikers matches in the National Women’s T20 were abandoned without a ball being bowled due to wet outfields in Lahore on Wednesday.

While the Invincibles are through to the final with six wins from six matches, Wednesday’s abandonments left Conquerors and defending champions Stars level on eight points apiece, both still in contention for the 12 April title match. However, Stars have one match remaining — against the Invincibles on Thursday — which they must win to secure their place. Conquerors, in contrast, have two matches in hand: against Strikers on Thursday and Invincibles on Saturday.

Challengers and Strikers are out of the reckoning. Challengers have managed just one point from seven matches following six straight defeats, while Strikers have won one and lost four to sit on three points.
