LAHORE: Bangladesh Women’s U19 took a 2-1 lead in the five-match T20 series after defeating Pakistan Women’s U19 by seven wickets in Cox’s Bazar on Monday.

Batting first, Pakistan scored 86 for eight. Eman Naseer top-scored with 23, with Memoon Khalid (18), Zoofishan Ayyaz (14), and Mahnoor Zaib (12) the other batters to reach double figures.

In turn, Bangladesh reached the 87-run target in 13.3 overs for the loss of three wickets, with Sadia Islam scoring 35. In partnership with Achena Jannat Emanta (30 not out), Sadia added 45 runs for the crucial third-wicket stand.
