LAHORE: Two more matches were decided in the National Women’s One-Day Tournament in Faisalabad. At the Iqbal Stadium, Stars defeated Challengers by 63 runs, while at the HPC Ground, Invincibles overcame Strikers by 21 runs.

At the Iqbal Stadium, Stars batted first and posted 209 for eight, with Sidra Amin top-scoring with 47. Kaynat Hafeez contributed 46, Omaima Sohail 39, and Gull Rukh 27. For Challengers, Tayyaba Imdad picked up three for 30.

In reply, Challengers were dismissed for 146, with Anam Amin taking four for 33 and Anosha Nasir claiming three for 15. Sadaf Shamas (28), Ayesha Zafar (26) and Yusra Amir (20) were the main contributors with the bat.

At the HPC Ground, Invincibles were bowled out for 184 in 46.2 overs. Tuba Hassan scored 49, Hafsa Khalid made 43, and Rida Aslam added 27. Humna Bilal was the most impressive Strikers bowler, taking three for 46, while Ghulam Fatima (two for 25) and Nashra Sundhu (two for 27) also bowled well.

In their run-chase, Strikers fell short by 21 runs, dismissed for 163 in 44.3 overs. Najiha Alvi scored the only half-century of the day, making a 100-ball 68 with five fours and a six. For Invincibles, Hafsa Khalid captured four for 25 and Rida Aslam took two for 19.
