In many ways, Imam-ul-Haq's role in the ODI side has been an important ingredient to Pakistan's continued success. The left-hander provides calmness at the top, allowing Fakhar Zaman to play freely. Imam's ability to manouver gaps in the middle phase of the game sets him apart from other options at the top. A key part of Imam's game is his consistency, which is arguably second only to Babar Azam in the side.
