Islamabad United are the joint-most successful Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise, having won the title twice, including in the inaugural PSL season. Both their title wins came in the first 3 seasons, and they will be disappointed to have not finished in the top 2 or reached a final since then. United play their home matches at the Pindi Cricket Stadium. Shadab Khan, who began his journey with the franchise as an emerging player in PSL 2, captains the side. United’s Head Coach is the newly recruited Mike Hesson, formerly New Zealand’s Head Coach, while Rehan Ulhaq is the Team Manager. Asif Ali, who moved to Peshawar Zalmi this season, is United’s most successful batsman and one of the PSL’s standout finishers. He is closely followed by Luke Ronchi, who was the Player of the Tournament in United’s PSL 3 title win. Meanwhile, skipper Shadab Khan is Islamabad’s most successful bowler.
