Runner ups thrice, the Bangladesh Tigers have long yearned for a title. With the controversy of Tamim Iqbal’s retirement surrounding them, they will be eager to turn a new page, and start afresh. Tamim is expected to be sidelined with an injury, albeit a new skipper is yet to be be named. Their brightest point of all has been their young pace attack, and fans will certainly hope for Taskin Ahmed and company to continue their progress. As is often the case, the middle order will depend heavily on Shakib al Hasan and Mushfiqur Rahim to come good. Watch out for Towhid Hridoy too – the youngster has had a stellar start to his career, and could certainly light up the big stage. Bangladesh will hope to put their best cricket forward, and results will hopefully flow too
