Shaheen Afridi Rises to No. 1 in ODI Bowling Rankings
Pakistan’s premier fast bowler Shaheen Afridi has reclaimed the No. 1 spot in the ICC ODI Bowler Rankings after a year-long gap.
Afridi’s ascent to the top follows an exceptional series against Australia, where he claimed eight wickets at an average of 12.62 over three matches. His dominant form propelled him past South African spinner Keshav Maharaj, who slipped to third, while Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan remains in second.
Fellow Pakistani bowler Haris Rauf also made significant progress, jumping 14 spots to 13th following his 10-wicket haul and Player of the Series award against Australia. Naseem Shah added to Pakistan’s bowling power, advancing 14 positions to claim 55th place.
