Chief Selector Mohammad Wasim has announced the Pakistan men’s squad this morning (Sep 6, 2021) for the 2021 edition of the Men’s T20 World Cup in the UAE. Originally scheduled for 2020 and to be held in Australia, the tournament was postponed due to the pandemic. India were then given hosting rights, swapping with Australia, who will now host the 2022 edition of the world event. However, India’s pandemic situation scuppered the plan, and a final decision was taken earlier in June that the World Cup will be held in the UAE.

The Chief Selector announced the squad in a press conference at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
