Only 29 overs were possible, as host team lost five wickets. Faisalabad started the day from the overnight score of 108/3 and added another 107 to end the day on 215/8. Raees Ahmed was the leader with the bat with 50*, followed by 37 and 34 by Khurram Shahzad and Abu Bakar Khan respectively. For Bahawalpur, Muhammad Umair led the efforts with 5/42.

Host AJK is in a better position against Hyderabad at the end of weather effected day 2. Continuing from the overnight score of 54/0, AJK added another 118 runs to their total for the loss of two wickets on day 2, taking their run tally to 172/2 in 56 overs. Usman Maroof was the top scorer with 67, while Hasnain Shameer also scored a half-century before getting out for 54.
